Working closely with our systems company Duraflex means that all products manufactured by London Windows Direct comply with BBA, BSI accreditations and are kitemark approved.
We also comply with BFRC regulations which means all our windows are energy rated. Recent legislation (Part L - October 1st 2010) has only served to confuse the industry when it comes to the relative merits of energy ratings and U values. At London Windows Direct, we aim to make it as simple as possible for our customers. Our manufacturing department have recently taken the decision to use a Simplified Energy Label, the benefits being that they can access over 1,500 thermal simulations to ensure we have the very best energy rated window available.
The benefits of energy efficient double glazing

The BFRC window energy rating scheme checks all the components to ensure the final window achieves the energy efficient standard claimed. Alternatively, just look for the Energy Saving Trust Recommended logo which will only be found on glazing that is B rated or above.

Not all windows are the same
Double glazed units from different sources may look similar at a glance – but don’t be fooled. Not all windows are the same. If windows aren’t efficient they lose valuable, expensive heat.
